Patagonia Vagabond Hiking Boots - Waterproof (For Men)

These are just ok, considering STP had 'em for less than half-price. These are comfortable & warm but too warm if above 40 degrees. They don't breathe very well and the water-proof-ness is canceled out by foot sweat. The fabric on the shoe top soaks up water (but doesn't seem to leak w/in the shoe) and gets easily discolored. They are light, seem to be waterproof, have decent traction, and are holding up well after 8 months of weekly use. I usually only wear them for short trips/activities and not all day adventures where I know I'll overheat in 'em. They're a decent winter weather disc golf shoe, but too hot in the summer.

These have been the best boots I have ever owned, I liked them so much I purchased some shoes as well, the sizing is just as described. The only time my feet get wet is when I plunge in the water over the tops! Wet grass, shallow creeks...no problems!

I bought these as a casual boot for everyday use in wet/cold weather. They fit perfect since I bought them a half size larger. I have flat/wide feet so they fit snug and secure. The Capilene lining make them warm so I would not recommend them in warm weather. The top two lace hooks are also close together so u have to take your time to lace them up and the lugs stick out on the sides so they get caught on stuff but that's no big deal. The canvas-like outer material seems like would make them tough to clean as well. If I were so inclined they would be great for hiking rugged terrain and the slight stiffness would probably make them good for light loads. Over all I am very happy. For the price and Patagonia quality u can't beat it.

Wear these boots mostly for 1-2 day hikes and every day use. No complaints

This is my second pair of these boots. Very comfortable and good in cold and warm weather. Light weight, but durable. Sized small, so need to order half size up.

Walk 50k wk all terrain perfect - supports the foot, most boots don't at all. light as a runner, sturdy as a harvy boot, as flexible as a day hiker but it's the genuine article and all from recycled materials. [...] Sierra trding has done me proud !!!.

My toes still touched in the 1/2 size up I ordered. They smelled bad for a while at my house but thats normal for shoes my husband tells me. They are not very flexable and the tongue is thick and hard to walk when tied. They look great and have potential when they are broken in and more pliable when I walk. Glad I got them at such an amazing price! I love Patagonia and I love STP for offering their products. This is my third pair of Patagonia shoes and I really love them>

Wonderfully constructed. A nice wide toe-box allowing for toes to "dig in". Great all-round boots. Highly recommended.

get a half size bigger

Nice shoes, more arch support than I would expect which is huge for me, seems a hair short in length as compared to other shoes, not a problem but if your a true 11 better go up a half a size
