I'm a solid size 8.5 but had to send these back for a size 8. They're really comfortable right out of the box and I'm glad I made the effort to exchange. My feet *do* sweat in these shoes after prolonged wearing which is atypical for me.

I have heard good things about the brand Patagonia, so I tried these shoes. Bought them as a gift. The person takes a 10.5 size and I bought a size 11.
They were still too small. Have no idea why. So I had to return them. I will say, they are very attractive and we wish they fit. Also, often when I open a new box of sneakers, the toxic chemical smell is revolting. These sneakers had a much much milder odor which could only be noticed if you held the sneaker up to your nose. So the 3 stars I gave them are really for their potential, which we can not evaluate and not a 4 star, because a half size larger should have fit.
