    First, these pants are a great length for petite because they are just below ankle length (I'm 5'2"). I've even worn them instead of jeans sometimes. They will be great for any special occasion, depending upon what is worn with them, dress them up or down - they just look so interesting - not cheap or stodgy. They may even become my 2nd pair of travel pants because they are so comfortable, and the fabric is very soft. I'm 150 pounds, and not terribly young, so these pants fit the bill for me because they fit well and look nice, and they don't make me feel like there's nothing pretty to wear. I got a size 14, and I may have to take in the waist a little, but maybe not. I also got the blouse/shirt to match (in black) which makes a spectacular outfit. Just one negative - no pockets ... oh well, these pants are worth it!

    I loved these pants but they def run large, so I ordered in the next size down, and those fit a bit better, but still...a touch big. I guess they run slightly large. A 4 would have been perfect (no 4) Would have returned the pants.. but, lordy, the sheen on these pants is to die for! It's linen and viscose and shimmery in an understated way, and it just has this...lush look to it! Discovered Peace of Cloth with this order, and now, I will try them again. Can't find them anywhere at this price 'cept here! YUM.

    I stumbled on my first pair of these pants in a gorgeous oatmeal color at a boutique and snapped them up. For someone who is short like me (5'2"), the pants hit right at the ankle and -- especially with the little slit at the hem -- look fabulous with a great pair of heels. I loved them so, that I went online in search of more. I found this black pair. They're dressier, because of the silvery luster, and have the same wonderful fit, are cut beautifully and hang perfectly. I want more!
