I wanted to love this jacket, and I kept trying it on in hopes that it would look better on me, but it always looked just very odd. I'm 5'2" and maybe it would look more reasonable on a taller person. The way the bottom part flares out just at the hips made me look like I was quite heavy there, or bulky, or chunky, or something. Back it goes.

Great jacket for a night out, not really suitable for a conservative work environment. I purchased the black one in size 4. In my opinion, it is more versatile of the two colors. I would also worry less about having to dry clean it as much as the silver one. The material has a slight luster/sparkle to it that adds to the evening. The cut is a bit more creative than the standard blazer, and a touch more feminine. Overall, a flattering effect.

This is a very well-made jacket but more suited in my opinion to some special occasion. The cloth is very shiny, yet soft, not too practical and very noticeable. I felt more like "mother of the bride" than business lady. It has a neat style, with the little peplum; alas, I'm too long-waisted and the peplum falls more around my middle than over the curve of the hips. Would be nice if it fit.
