Love this short, they are thin and comfortable. The leg grippers are very light (but shorts don't ride up which is good). The chamois is a somewhat thin (thicker than tri short but maybe a tad thin for longer ride). I love them. They size somewhat larger than other Pearl Izumi items, but not much.

i was looking for shorts that came up to or a little above my navel. lately the shorts seems to be low cut which i dont like. these were just a little low in the front, i found several other shorts that fit better as far as what i was looking for so these when back, but i debated because these were pretty nice. the material seemed to be more stiff/ less stretchy than other shorts, not uncomfortable, just different. i am thinking they may be more durable(like a polyester swim suit vs a nylon swim suit). i think the padding was okay. material not heavey but not see through. price is good on STP

The cooling and moisture management workers great. The mesh type front is nice and does not cut into your body. Over all nice shorts.
