5.0 out of 5 stars. Strong Enough for a Woman, Made for a Man

First off: this is a mens' jersey, but I am not a man. So, while I can't speak to the way this jersey might work for the dudes, I *can* speak to how it just works. For starters, it just works that this jersey is long enough to cover the torso of my 6' body without hitching up in the front while standing or riding up in the back while in my drops. It works that there are so many pockets that, should I feel so inclined, I could pack all my make-up compacts and still have room for all my protein treats and gooey goodies, besides having room in a water resistant pocket for my iPhone. It works that after grinding out 3,500 feet in 12 miles this jersey is still cool, but then dries quickly, which is particularly awesome on a chilly descent. I have a lean, athletic build, so the snug fit works. I don't want to look like a fool when I ride, so the aggressive design works. Over a 4,000 mile season, I don't want chafing, bunching, itching, or flapping, so this fabric works. I want form, function, and feel--and this jersey works.

Tight fit, nice jersey. Thanks STP for the pricing. I would not pay retail for this, but the price is right for this jersey here.

About Pearl Izumi

Before Kinji Shimizu created the first Pearl Izumi cycling apparel, he spent nearly seven days a week on his bike delivering 90 pounds of clothes to customers. He frequently pedaled 38 miles a day. Years later, after his son received a special Italian-made cycling jersey, Kinji was inspired to start creating his own using the best fabrics he could find. The result soon evolved into the Pearl Izumi brand. In the five decades since, the company Kinji founded has continued working hard to make the best gear possible for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors. From incredibly lightweight Pearl Izumi shoes to sleek, comfortable Pearl Izumi running apparel, few other brands have the same relentless drive toward innovation as Pearl Izumi.
