    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I have pretty small ankles but these socks cinched them pretty uncomfortably. Just sitting, my foot felt like they had limited circulation so I never took them on the run. Maybe while exercising, the increased blood flow would still get through but put up with the limitation. Too bad, the material's fine and seems like it would wick well.
