    After reading earlier reviews, I decided to buy one size larger than I normally would have (Large is 35-37" waist; mine is 34"). The large shorts fit me just fine; I'm not sure the medium would have. I've worn the shorts for a few rides of about 15 miles and still feel like I can do the run leg of a sprint triathlon. These are my first bike shorts, so I have nothing to compare them to, but they feel good and look like they will hold up.

    These are a bit long in the leg and high in the waist for racers, but for long distance touring, they are just the ticket. I bought multiple pairs and was comfortable in RAGBRAI every day.

    Have four of these I've been using for my 2nd season now. 2/4 wore significantly inside my left thigh and one of those two now has two large holes in them. Unsure if it's related to my biking style, seat or the durability of the shorts. Other than that, really comfortable, like the padding... butt's never been sore on long rides.
