Pearl Izumi Classic Cycling Shorts (For Women)

Great shorts for the money. Not as much padding as some of my other shorts, but for the price, they are more than adequate.

Lots of padding like everyone said, which I consider a bonus. I ordered an XS and they are very short but do fit in the waist, so I'm glad I ordered that size instead of the small. These are really good, especially for the price. I am more of a recreational cyclist and did about 15 miles my first time out in them and they were fine.

These are good shorts - very durable and well made. However the large felt a little small, but overall still wearable.

The size is generous and I just started using it so I don't know how it will hold up but I find it comfortable. A serious cyclist might find the padding excessive but I do not.

I have just begun cycling 3 to 4 times a week getting ready for my first Sprint Tri. The shorts were a steal for the price. Not sure why people were making comments about the padding being too much. I have a different pair of Pearl Zumi's with much more padding. I think the padding on these is perfect for up to a 30 mile ride. They seem just a tad shorter than my other pair but I wouldn't say they are too short. I would buy these again in a heart beat if I needed them. I bought 2 pair and already have 2 other pair so I am all set. Great deal and great cycling shorts.

These shorts are comfortable and fit well. I had trouble finding a true XL size in women's cycling wear (which tends to run very small), but Pearl Izumi's XL is actually true to size. I like these shorts so much this purchase was actually my third pair.

I can finally ride in comfort on rough terrain.

I'm just starting to cycle after not been on a bike for over 15 years. In looking for extra padding for the long bike rides, this seems to fit the bill!

I now have three pairs of these shorts to get me through the week of RAGBRAI, a week-long ride across the state of Iowa at the end of July. The shorts are comfortable and supportive with their contoured padding.

Unfortunately, I ended up returning these bike shorts. They fit really well and I liked the fabric just fine. The problem was the padding. There was WAY too much of it. It literally felt like I had a mattress between my legs. I never wore them on a ride, so I'm not sure how they function. I couldn't imagine too well, because there was just too much 'stuff' down there. The padding was very thick and very wide.
