4.0 out of 5 stars. Great dealVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lexgirl from Kentucky on Tuesday, July 7, 2015I'm a new runner, so I'm still learning about what works for my feet and style. I admittedly bought these based quite a bit on looks, and I wasn't disappointed - they are SLICK. Thankfully, they feel good too. Nice support, one-piece construction, and good lift. I followed the advice of previous feedback and sized up one half size to accommodate my wide foot, and I'm glad I did - the fit on these is like a glove, but in a supportive and comfortable way.
Potential negative feedback: I did some shorter 3-4 mile distances in these and felt fine. Did a 10K and wrecked my knee (which I had been having some issues with). Related? -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Too short in the toe box.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Morning Walker from Massachusetts on Tuesday, June 30, 2015I had to return as the toe box was a bit narrow and too short, although I usually fit into a standard 10M for a running/walking shoe. They seemed very well made and felt comfortable, except for the toe box. I had to return. Sierra made that easy to do and were very helpful on the phone!

3.0 out of 5 stars. runs small; like a whole size!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Bend, Oregon on Thursday, March 19, 2015Had to send these back, and because there's no free return shipping, didn't want to take a chance on anything else. They run about a size too small all around. Bummed, as I really needed the shoes yesterday. The "overall small" factor seems to be the case for all Pearl Izumi running shoes I'm finding out. I heard good things about the e-motion series (both road and trail) and wanted to try, but don't recommend ordering by mail unless you already know the shoe and style you want (try them on at a shop before buying online).

3.0 out of 5 stars. Too narrowVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Delaware on Thursday, February 5, 2015The shoe had great cushioning and motion control, but unfortunately they were too narrow for my feet. I wanted to love them, but when your pinky toe starts to go numb, I know I can't keep them!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Izumi running shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from North Carolina on Friday, December 12, 2014Very comfortable for my long but narrow feet with plenty of toe room for my swollen arthritic toes and good support for my fallen pronatorarches. Nobody am I falli. Apart or what? Anyhow these may be my new brand after trying Brooks, asisc - still ok if put my SOLE inserts in them. Just have to try out o the treadmill today.

4.0 out of 5 stars. RUN SMALL!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by MaUrsus from Sandpoint, ID on Friday, November 21, 2014I run about 20 miles/week, give or take. I have Brooks (7.5), Saucony (7.5), Asics (7), Salomon (6.5) and Newtons (7) in rotation, and thought I would try these Pearl Izumi's to add in when a pair of the others wear out. I bought a 7.5. using a shoe fitter guide from other retailers to help make that decision. They are SHORT. My toes go within a cm of the end. They are super comfy, but I haven't run in them yet (or worn them outseide) as I am debating sending them back for an 8. They fit everywhere else and I have never ever worn an 8, and don't want slippage, but also don't want to lose any toenails on long runs! So while I can't offer any meaningful feedback on how the shoe feels with some mileage, I suggest ordering up. I buy regular shoes in a size 7 and go up half a size for running shoes, but with this shoe you may want to consider going up a full size.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great for pronators like meVerified Buyer Reviewed by Legalmom from Portland, OR on Thursday, November 6, 2014I purchased these running shoes because I sprained my ankle while wearing my others. They were too high and did not have a stable foot bed. These seemed perfect, but were too short (I ordered a womens' 11 and I usually wear one, but they didn't fit). So they're going back only because they're too small.
