5.0 out of 5 stars. If you like the idea of running naked...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Cactusgirl from West Texas on Thursday, July 16, 2015Let's just start by saying I have now purchased 8 of these skirts. I have searched near and far (Pearl Izumi outlet, various online places, etc.) to buy this skirt in the various color combinations and in different sizes. For the record, none of the skirts from other places came near the low price I paid with STP--bless you coupons.
Now, to the skirt itself. It essentially is a tissue thin fabric attached to a heavy mesh panty with a wide non-elastic waistband. What this means is if you live in desert-like conditions, you can wear this skirt and feel pretty much naked, However, this miracle quick dry fabric (read chafe free) is very opaque so you can feel comfortable running errands in it.
I have worn this over running tights.
Sizing--I have this skirt in several sizes. It's ok to size up. This is the only skirt I own in a large (it was what STP had at the time) but that just means it is a bit longer, ok to layer and really isn't much different than the med in the waist. If you don't have hips like I do to keep the skirt up, it does have a nice drawstring. For me, the L just rides lower on my hips. The med is probably the best fit (I'm a 4/6) and the small is really too small.
Downside, unlike the ultra skirt, the pocket in the back is not large enough for a phone and it is a flap, not a zippered pocket. It's perfect for some cash, a credit card, single gu, etc.
Overall, color me happy. I never thought I would buy a skirt without shorts underneath, but because everything dies in an instant, it is completely chafe free. My only complaint is that Pearl Izumi doesn't make this skirt anymore. The new version is quite a bit shorter and has pleats in the back--not so great for us pear shaped girlies. So, stock up of you love this one. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. This is a great skirt for exercise or casual wear.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sophie's Mom from Houston, TX on Saturday, July 19, 2014Fit is excellent (I like the fact that there is no bunchy elastic waistband and, instead, the skirt lies flat), the skirt is comfortable and the colors (I bought citron-black) are striking. This skirt is shorter than some of the other Pearl Izumi skirts and I like that too. I am short and the longer skirts didn't look as good as this one. I liked it so much that I bought a second one. The Deal Flyer coupon gave me a really good price!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very fun skirt for running or just for casual wear.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sophie's Mom from Houston, TX on Saturday, July 12, 2014I love all of my Pearl Izumi garments. I love that this skirt's waist isn't a bulky gathered elastic band that bunches up. Instead the waist/upper part of the skirt lies perfectly flat. Bought two.

5.0 out of 5 stars. So cute!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Thunder thighs from Utah on Monday, May 19, 2014This skirt is adorable and flattering. The liner is simply a little sewn-in panty which leaves those of us with rather thunderous thighs to chafe. I used some anti-chafing products and had no issue, however, I do wish there were sewn-in shorts instead. Regardless, I am really pleased with the skirt. It's really light, comfortable fabric and the fit is cute and functional. The skirt is sewn into two parts so if there is a breeze, the front of the skirt can actually blow all the way up, so it's a good thing those sewn-in panties are not see through! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love--so much that I own 3!!!Reviewed by KW the lazy runner from FE Warren AFB, WY on Saturday, May 10, 2014Love this skirt. Did I mention that I love this skirt?!?! I own running skirts by Brooks, Nike, RunningSkirts, and Pearl. This is my fav...hands down. The lightweight material coupled w/the brief instead of shorts makes for 'the perfect' skirt. It fits true to size, too. I'm 5'6" @ 155lbs and wear a Lg. The skirt is constructed in panels, a front and back which overlap nicely, allowing for full range of movement without comprimising coverage. The internal drawcord helps cinch the waist in place. Oh yeah, extra points for he brief staying put and not shifting.

5.0 out of 5 stars. running naked?Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Alaska on Wednesday, May 7, 2014It feels like I'm running naked, which makes my upcoming nudist marathon seem not so daunting. And when I'm done running, all the sweat that dripped down to my skirt and soaked it complete wicks dry in a matter of several nudist moments. I love the skirt.
