Wish I would have bought 2 pair, as they are very good looking, have padding in the right place, and are the standard Pearl Izumi quality. Unless you are going to ride for 100 miles the lightweight gel padding is perfectly adequate for most rides.

Good padding and light weight with a little more warmth and protection than 1/2 finger gloves. Order up in size if anything but fairly true to size.

These are extremely comfy and breathable in the south eastern Alabama heat. If you lift your fingers up while riding it allows the air to flow through the gel mesh pad to the palms of your hands. I thought these were the best gloves until the third ride out when the stitching came undone on the web of one glove and a finger on another glove. The durability was sub par. Pearl izumi needs to fix this problem with these gloves. A full refund was offered. I used the money to buy a different pair of gloves.

These are the best gloves I've ever owned, and I've owned many brands. I bought the half-finger version too. The padding is thick without being bulky. They really prevent numbness.

They are good in cool weather riding, but breathe and are designed for warm weather. It is a well constructed, durable glove.
