I'm super skinny so it fits a hare loose with just a base layer underneath. But when its really cold a base layer, fleece and this shell are perfect for my slim frame. Length is great on back and arms. Haven't tested rain yet but passed the wind test. It also packs super small. I fit it into the smaller pouch of my messenger bag.

Pearl Izumi clothing runs small, especially in chest and shoulders, but arm length ok.

This is one of the better running jackets that I have purchased. It is very light and has protected well against wind, showers and the cool spring mornings. Back flaps provide good venting. Good sleeve length and nice to have sleeve cuffs without elastic. The chest pocket is perfect for the music player and plenty of room in the back pocket for hat, gloves, food etc. Pearl Izumi fitted garments are just that. I border on Medium to Large and this fits perfectly while not restricting movement, so I am glad that I chose Large and not Medium! Overall, I am very pleased with this garment and look forward to testing it in the winter.

My son loves this jacket for those rainy days of track practice that aren't freezing cold. Gives you the rain protection without the added heat.

Returned product. Felt too tight around shoulders/upper arms.

This is a great outer layer in 20 degree and below weather. It blocks the wind which at times is 20-30 mph with 10-15 degree temperature. This is a definate buy item for running in the winter.

I've got a New Balance jacket with a thicker wind resistant membrane and more isulation. I can't really wear the jacket if it's over 20-25 degrees because I overheat. I wanted a lighterweight, breathable shell to block wind and precipitation and give my some storage. This has worked nicely on two runs in the mid-30s; however, the jacket was a little too breathable for one run in the mid-20s with windy conditions (with one LS layer underneath, which is typically what I wear under a jacket). I'm usually between a M and a L, but I had to go with the L for this jacket.

Great jacket, but vents on sides, although great for breathability, lets water in where you don't want it at times. If you don't have to ride in the rain, couldn't have a better jacket.
