    I like to wear shorts with liners for running and working out at the gym. I'm sure these will be fine. But they aren't nearly as cute as a similar pair by Brooks that I got from STP. I'm not sure what it is, but it seems the outer short is too baggy in the front. The Brooks shorts are so cute they make me excited to go for a run. I don't see that happening with these. But I am sure they will function as well.

    If the weather ever warms up, I think I will really like these shorts. I have been running (more and more slowly) for over 30 years and in the past few years have had trouble finding shorts that sit at the waist and aren't too short (or too long). I tried these on and they seem just right. The pictures vary, but these just look like regular running shorts.

    Pearl Izumi is a great brand, and I generally love their products, but the fit on these shorts was wacky. There is waaay too much fabric in the front and not enough 'venting' on the sides so it would seem that movement would be more resricted during running. Sadly, these didn't work for me.
