    Pros:
    * Lightweight thermal fabric creates a nice microclimate around the skin - took these on hard rainy 35 deg run, and legs were never cold
    * This tight does not have a brief, however, it does have an extra layer of fabric in front of the tight in the crotch area. This is good for two reasons - one is that it prevents guys from revealing more of their anatomy than they might want, and it provides some extra warmth, which is good for very cold days.
    * Ankle zipper has a fabric pocket for the zipper tab, to stop it from rubbing against your skin - an issue on long runs,
    * Reflective accents, and nice anatomic fit.
    Cons:
    * None

    I am also a cyclist. IMO, this tight is not suitable for cycling - it is too tight, and they do not come up high enough in the back. These are clearly running and not cycling tights.

    Wonderfully soft and warm - even though they are for men I bought them for me (woman) and they fit great. I would classify these as a medium weight layer. I'm 5'8, 150, and bought the medium. Great for layering for hiking too.

    I really love this pants; warm and very comfy. I use it for hiking and biking in Winter. I usually wear Large but I ordered one size larger which XL per previous buyers suggestions. They are right. XL is perfect fit for me.

    Purchased these tights to ride in cooler fall and winter weather. Fit great and kept me very comfortable on a ride in mid to low 40's temps. Look forward to using them more.

    I have a heavy pair of these tights that I wear for xc skiing that run large. This pair seem to be small. i ordered a medium, and sent them back for a large. the quality however is terrific. The price was right.

About Pearl Izumi

Before Kinji Shimizu created the first Pearl Izumi cycling apparel, he spent nearly seven days a week on his bike delivering 90 pounds of clothes to customers. He frequently pedaled 38 miles a day. Years later, after his son received a special Italian-made cycling jersey, Kinji was inspired to start creating his own using the best fabrics he could find. The result soon evolved into the Pearl Izumi brand. In the five decades since, the company Kinji founded has continued working hard to make the best gear possible for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors. From incredibly lightweight Pearl Izumi shoes to sleek, comfortable Pearl Izumi running apparel, few other brands have the same relentless drive toward innovation as Pearl Izumi.
