Pearl Izumi Insula Tour Cycling Jacket (For Women)

I was pleasantly surprised how attractive this jacket is. The color provides high visibility for cold, cloudy days. The fit is very comfortable with plenty of stretch.

This jacket is very nice for cycling in cool/cold weather. It is nicely form fitting so does not bunch up at the shoulder and interfere with the glasses mirror. The sleeves are too long and I have to roll them up. The back pocket with side entrance is very big and holds a lot of stuff. The only thing that surprised me was that the back of the jacket was light orange, I was expecting it to be fuscia on the back and orange on the front. I like this jacket!

The medium was a perfect fit, except for some tightness across the shoulders, the large is comfortable but a little too roomy in most areas. I am 5'4", 115 lbs, a LARGE???? The only pocket is the traditional cycling rear pocket. Cute jacket, love the colors, good for moderate cold, would need something more for really cold or windy conditions

I wore this on my first colder ride of the season last week with a winter jersey underneath. Rode for an hour and a half in 35 degree weather and was very comfortable. I got the gold ("moab") color which is bright and pretty. I get a lot of compliments on it and picked it up for such a great price. Now if I could just keep those fingers warmer...

Front is weather proof, back is not- not a good feature on a windy day. Really keeping me toasty so far but the coldest weather is yet to come. Looking forward to wearing this when temps are in 20's - 30's as it is too warm ( for me) in the 40-50 degree range.

This jacket is lightweight but very warm. Great for cold morning rides and the back pocket is large enough to carry essentials. Reflective piping aids in visability for early morning, fog or clouds.

Only worn the jacket once so far - but it was great. Love the colors and extra detailing - much more fun than the normal basic cycling gear.

AT SIERRA'S CLOSEOUT PRICING ON THESE YOU CAN'T BEAT IT. THE JACKET IS CUT PERFECTLY FOR WOMEN AND EXCELLENT FOR COLD WEATHER RIDING. IT DOESN'T GET IN THE WAY WHEN RIDING. LOVE THE ZIPPERS AT THE WRIST FOR EASE OF GETTING THICK GLOVES ON AND OFF. IPOD ACCESS TOO. NICE SIZE REAR POCKET. THE JACKET LOOKS SO GOOD I WEAR IT JUST OUT AND ABOUT. EVERYONE COMMENTS ON THE JACKET!

I've had my eye on this gem of a jacket for a while & the reviews won me over because it performs AND it has a flattering look on & off the bike. The fit is very true to size & it's a streamlined fit that still gives plenty of room for layers underneath (something that my Etxe Ondo jacket doesn't provide). This one is so cute that I do plan to wear it off the bike--something I'd never normally do but this jacket doesn't scream "I was designed for biking only." I'm so happy that I picked this one up & I look forward to riding lots of miles in it as well as wearing it casually. Wow!

Yesterday, wore in 35degree, snow squall and road biked for 1 hr. Was too hot because I had 2 long sleeve jerseys on. But when I turned around to go home (downhill), the wind did not penetrate and chill me. It seemed perfect. (Actually pit zips and a little longer in the back and it really would be perfect). I liked the LOW price I paid and it works great.
