“Just What I Needed.”

“I had an old warm-up jacket that was just right for its' balance of breathability and warmth. I just wore it out (big holes around the shoulders) and was looking for a replacement. This jacket is just what I've been looking for. I'll give a more detailed report when the weather turns cool. Like other Izumi products, the jacket is well constructed. The material is bi-faced, smooth and tight on the outside (like mercerized cotton) and a flattened blanket face on the inside. There a couple of things I like: -Raglan sleeves. -A purpose-built windflap behind the metal zipper. -The three pockets in the back (side pockets for water bottles and a bigger middle one) has an accessory-zippered pocket large enough for a wallet and some energy bars. -The waist band in the back is stiff (to cope with whatever you put in the back pockets). One note. To me the jacket is a little tight around the upper arms but I figure the jacket just needs to be broken in.”
