Reviewed by Russell from Des Moines. IA on Friday, July 13, 2012Good shoe. Lightweight. About 230 grams per shoe. Fairly comfortable. I have a medium width foot and these fit right. I wear size 44. American shoe size is 10, or really about 9.75 if they made such a size. For longer rides, 125 miles, they are not as comfortable as my old Carnac shoes. Feet get some discomfort in the sole. Maybe due to the shoe insole being just a very thin piece of foam. Shorter 60 mile rides, no discomfort. Velcro closure is great. Secure and easy to adjust so its just right. Wich it only had two velcro straps though. Only the top velcro strap is used. Bottom two straps are always loose.

They are sold as a men's shoe sizing but I wear a women's size 7/ men's size 5 and the 38's were clearly equal to a small women's size 6. Great looking shoes and light as a feather. If you can make them fit, you're lucky.

I am tempted to buy another pair [...] I have worn for about 25ish 40-60 mile rides. No century yet this summer as still MTB race season.

I had expected to keep the Sidi's, as my other pair of Pearlizumi shoes are a prototype from many years ago and I've never liked them that well. I think Pearl has got it together with these high end shoes. They also look great. I wear a women's 7 1/2 and the 38 1/2 fit perfect.
