Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by California Flash from Michigan on Friday, October 25, 2013These pants are extremely waterproof. My first ride was nearly three hours in light to moderate rain. When I returned home I was very dry. These pants combined with the Pearl Izumi Pro Shoe covers are very effective in keeping you dry and comfortable.

Well designed pants with internal waister gaiter that catches any water that may pass whatever jacket you wear. The adjustable waist is well design and the seat is reinforced. Snug ankle fit as the pants legs tapers., Size large fits well 6' with 32" waist.
Reviewed by Ski dad from Glenwood Springs, CO on Monday, April 1, 2013These pants have a nice fit, somewhat loose in the thighs to permit a layer underneath, and a well designed waist band. The material stretches for comfortable riding and the heavy wear areas at the seat and knees are reinforced. The only drawback is the length of the legs. When standing the fit is fine, but on the bike, the pants creep up above the ankle which exposes the top of your riding shoes and ankles to the elements. If you wore a waterproof bootie, that would cover the gap, but an extra 2 inches would make these pants 5 stars. For the price, that little flaw is something I can live with.
Answer The pants have an adjustable touch fasten waist with an elastic rear waist panel.
Answer The Pearl Izumi Pro Barrier WxB Pants do not have a chamois.
