Purchased this for my husband who is an avid mtn biker. He loves the Pearl Izumi brand and apparently the 'pro' line is great. Yes it is a snug fit but he looked great!

Would be great if you are a 20 year old racer. But for us 60's bikers, a fit too small. If you have any body fat do not order.

Have ordered (& enjoyed) Pearl Izumi items from STP for over a decade. Never returned one of Pearl's items until this one.

First off, I spent a good minute-and-a-half trying to separate the two sides of the zipper at the bottom. Same problem when I finally got the jersey on: zipper would stick and could not be pulled up. Probably just a bad piece.

But the sizing seemed off. Have worn XL for years (and have lost weight) but had to wonder if this was a mis-labeled L. We're talkin' sausage-casing. Maybe that's the point of their high-end P.R.O. line but it was not comfortable.

About Pearl Izumi

Before Kinji Shimizu created the first Pearl Izumi cycling apparel, he spent nearly seven days a week on his bike delivering 90 pounds of clothes to customers. He frequently pedaled 38 miles a day. Years later, after his son received a special Italian-made cycling jersey, Kinji was inspired to start creating his own using the best fabrics he could find. The result soon evolved into the Pearl Izumi brand. In the five decades since, the company Kinji founded has continued working hard to make the best gear possible for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors. From incredibly lightweight Pearl Izumi shoes to sleek, comfortable Pearl Izumi running apparel, few other brands have the same relentless drive toward innovation as Pearl Izumi.
