    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I have another pair of Pearl Izumi's and will never buy another shoe, I love them. BUT this one was just horrible. The back of the shoe is WAY too stiff, and it bruised my Achilles while jogging/walking in them, which made it painfull to wear any other shoe.
