I bought these shoes because I cycle, but not very often and I wanted a shoe that was affordable. I would have kept them, but they run small. I ended up ordering a full size bigger in another Pearl Izumi shoe and they fit fine.

I bought these when I started getting more serious about riding and wanted to get affordable shoes. The price can't be beat, especially if you get them on sale. The soles are very stiff but be wary of walking in the (ie up a hill) because they scuff up pretty easily. The velcro straps make them easy to adjust, and they have great ventilation. I'm not crazy about the color but they work great for a beginner shoe. The tops are a little stiff compared to other shoes I tried on, but they get more comfortable the more you use them. Overall, I would say they are a great shoe to start with!

this shoe was a good buy for the price. Definitely on the lower end of cycling shoes but nice. They are true to size. I read another comment on some others like it and ordered a size bigger and had to exchange them for my actual size. Works great with my SPD cleats and pedals too.

good shoe for a good price (got them on sale). Can be slick/tricky to walk in, but these ARE meant for riding, not off roading, etc.

I got these shoes because of the great value pricing. I've used them in my spinning class and they are well ventilated and provide great support. They are a bit stiff, but probably just need a little breaking in. The sizing is true, so follow the recommendations if you decide to purchase these shoes. I recommended this shoe to all my spinning buddies!
