    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Tights seemed like ordinary nylon tights. I had trouble pulling the gripper ring on the bottom of the tights over my ankles. It would have been better to have a short zipper on the bottom of the tights. The waist of the tights does not come up very far either. I can't imagine they'd be good for cool weather, not even fleecy interior. But I really did not make it outside after the struggle to get them on and then off. They got returned.

    I wear these over my cycling shorts. I like them better than my other cycling tights because I can wear my favorite cycling shorts under as these tights have no pad. These would also be great for running in cold weather.

    I'm a runner and cyclist and I use these tights CONSTANTLY during cool weather workouts. They're great as an outer layer while out for a run or under bike shorts as some added warmth in cool conditions. The tights are truly that, TIGHT! But I love that about them. They're not restrictive, they just hug the lower body and add compression which is a nice touch. They're plenty warm for me in any temperatures down to about 30 degrees. At that point I have to switch to a mid-weight tight as these are pretty lightweight. They wick moisture like a champ and look pretty darned cool as well. I feel like a super hero in these things! I do wish the ankles had zippers so it wouldn't be so tough to get the tights on and off. Also, they really don't block the wind much, so if you're out in really windy conditions these might not be for you. Other than that, they rock.

    I have a lot of PI products and was hesitant to make the purchase with just one negative feedback listed (although I appreciate the feedback). I ordered them anyway and the tights are awesome. Perfect fit and I have no problems getting them on and off. I prefer not to have zippers at the ankles, since they always seem to dig into your skin during activities. The quality of the material is well worth the price. I wear these for running and cycling. When I ordered my pair I pondered over which color to purchase. After receiving my order and trying these tights, I ordered the other color. Can't go wrong - - go for it!
