Pearl Izumi Sommet Pants (For Women)

Really excited to receive them, but when tried them on they felt too slick and way too small.

Even came it handy the day I got them and it was pouring and I had taken the bus. Sizing is consistent with other Pearl Izumi bottoms.

i have worn these in extremely rainy conditions while camping, and even snow. they kept me dry and comfortable! i did wear them with some rain boots, and the zips at the bottom worked out great getting them over my boots. i thought the fit was great! my only problem is that they already have a worn spot, so i think they might not be the most durable pants, but i was climbing on rocks at the coast, i'm sure they werent designed for that. anyway, i love them, but if you want to wear them with a thermal underneath you might want to order a size larger. the mesh will keep you warm in cooler rainy weather, but not snow! also, i hiked yosemite falls in these on a day in the mid 60's - they got HOT! i had to roll them up.

I wore these running, in the rain, and they do wick water well. Great pants!

I got these after getting soaked after 10 min at the farmer's market and having to wear scrubs all day at work. Sure they are meant for running or whatever, but I wear them to work on rainy days and then change when I get in. They dry quickly too. They are lined with mesh and there are vents at the knees, so you don't get sweaty. They have a reflective strip at the knee, so I wouldn't wear them around all day.
