Love the deep heel counter as I wear orthotics, and the fabric of the upper shoe is really comfortable. A great shoe!

Finally a trail running shoe that is stable and has enough cushion not to feel every little rock you step on. Yet lightweight enough so you don't feel like ankle weights strapped to you after a few miles of trail running. Beware of other trail runners that are advertised as "lightweight" as most will lack cushioning.

I have always found the Pearl Izumi trail shoe to be the best for me...and I don't always trail run. Wide stable base is great for anyone whose foot doesn't quite know how to stabilize!!

This is my first pair of this brand and I'm really impressed. They're so comfortable, supportive and look good too. They look pretty durable as well. I'd buy them again.
