This is going with me as a mid-layer on a cold Idaho white-water trip, this week (early May). It adds some warmth and a middle layer block of wind and water repellence. It's not bulky. And it's great looking. I'm going to wear and wear and ware this jacket?

Ran my last leg of the Grand Teton Relay right before sunrise and it was chilly! This jacket kept me and my hands perfectly warm, plus it's light and doesn't add bulk! Loved the hand mitts - so much better than carrying gloves!

As advertised, this lightweight jacket provides great wind and water resistance. It is also very comfortable for active sports due to the stretchy, breathable fabric. Since purchasing, I've been very comfortable in it in light rain for a run and on a cool, but dry day for a 30 mile ride.

I really like this jacket. I bought it for jogging on cooler days. I purchased the Medium and it fits well, but maybe runs slightly big as it feels larger than other items in that size. It has a great cut to it though and it is very flattering. I have the black but would love to buy some of the other colors too. I am new to Pearl Izumi products, but they seem to be well made and I love the styles they offer.

Love this jacket - I got it last night and kept exclaiming to my fiance 'Ahhh I love this so much! This jacket is the best!', which I only do when something really surpasses my expectations. Perhaps you will be less excited, but it fit everything I was looking for - warm, but breathable, protective, but comfortable, functional, but flattering. Living in Seattle, a jacket that is wind and water resistant and warm at 40 degrees is key. I get cold easily, especially my hands, so the mini gloves (inner sleeve ending has an additional layer that can fold over to cover your fist completely) + warm pockets are perfect! AND the back actually covers a good portion of your booty and sits tight on the body - no draft up my back! They listed this jacket as semi-fitted and I would completely agree. I'm 5'6'', 125lbs and got a small - the jacket is not skin tight, but in no way baggy. I've never purchased a Pearl Izumi item before, but if this is what they are like, I will be buying more in the future. And no, I'm not some coffee-hyped up Pearl Izumi spokesperson. I just get really excited about being warm and comfortable.
