5.0 out of 5 stars. perfect fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Florida on Thursday, September 8, 2016I bought these shoes to use for spin/cycle classes. I had been using regular non clip athletic shoes and I was starting to experience a little plantar fasciitis. They are perfect! ~great fit, love the adjustable button, feet feel great afterwards. Great stability and heel already feels mended

2.0 out of 5 stars. Cut Very High Around the Ankle BoneVerified Buyer Reviewed by DanceFaery from San Francisco Bay Area on Monday, July 25, 2016These shoes fit me well everywhere except around the ankle bones. They are cut high and dug in under the ankle bone upon flexing the foot. Super disappointing. I wear a US size 8, and the size 40 was perfect length wise.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoe!Reviewed by Brooke from Pottstown, PA on Monday, November 30, 2015I wear a size 8.5 and bought a 40. They fit well, but after riding they seem to loosen up. After several hundred miles on the shoes I am still uncertain if that's my feet or what.
They are comfortable. I have bad feet and these have been great. They breath which is great, but they are not a winter shoe. I have worn them with shoe covers in cold (40 degree) weather and they have been fine.
Very stiff sole, but totally walkable. I wouldn't consider these a casual shoe, but there is rubbery grip on the bottom so much better than a road shoe for getting around at a rest stop on pavement. Good walking on the trail and optional screw in 'spikes' for more dig-in. -
1.0 out of 5 stars. short and narrowVerified Buyer Reviewed by hm from sussex county,nj on Monday, June 15, 2015I have PI shoes so I bought my usual size, 40. Found they were very, very narrow and short for size. Don't recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Ultra High Performance MTBReviewed by JD Of NSC from Boston, MA on Wednesday, April 1, 2015The X-Project 3.0 is a race level high performance shoe for serious cyclists. The carbon fiber sole does not flex much at all but walking is manageable. The sole lugs do grip many surfaces well and there is some heel cushioning so it is still way better than a road shoe for off the bike. The ability to deliver your power to the pedal is what this shoe is about. These are very different then the X-Alp series in flex yet shoe comfort is not compromised with an excellent heel cup, excllent innersole with metatarsal support, and nice toe room. The only difference between the 3.0 and the 2.0 that I can see is that the 3.0 ventilation seems better on the 3.0, flashier graphics, and the 3.0 doesn't have 1:1 fit kit which you can buy independently. I tried the fit kit and did not find it helpful but some people will find it beneficial. The negative review that was made on this shoe is something you can expect from novice cyclists who can not appreciate a shoe of this caliber as it is so different from the X-Alp. It is simple, if you are a casual cyclist, this shoe is not for you but if you appreciate a shoe with the ultimate in pedaling efficiency, you should consider the Project series. Thus, I kind of recommend the 3.0 over the 2.0 if the fit kit is not important to you and you like the graphics which I think are really cool but some may think too glitzy.
