5.0 out of 5 stars. Pendleton Still Makes the Best

I have been wearing Pendleton for years, and do not know a better clothes maker. This sweater is evidence of their skill. Great fit, warm, soft, terrific color (I ordered maroon) and STP's price was well below what I would expect to pay for a Pendleton sweater. The collar is a bit stiff and might rub on the sides of one's neck/chin, but this improves with wear. Overall, this is one terrific sweater!

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Super Nice Sweater

Sierra sent me a large by mistake (I'm an XL all day). I was sad they didn't have an XL to to replace it. It was super nice, but too small for me.

Bought this as a gift. Could not have been happier. Soft, warm, and outstanding quality...but it's a Pendleton, so no surprise there.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Pendleton Button Placket Sweater - Gorgeous!

This sweater is classic Pendleton, as in quality, softy yarns and well constructed. It is a wonderful winter weight sweater, cut fully and long. The color is a deep rich cranberry. Boyfriend loves it.

About Pendleton

The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. By the early 20th century, the Pendleton clothing line was expanded to include suiting and apparel, including the now legendary Pendleton virgin wool shirt. Today, this renowned American brand owns and operates seven manufacturing facilities as well as 75 Pendleton retail stores.
