Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sierrafan from PA on Sunday, February 8, 2015I wavered a bit before purchasing this piece, and I'm glad I did. I had to diet down into it for 6 weeks or so, even though I did my usual Pendleton "size up" of one size - it's more snug through the hips than other Pendleton pieces I own. I questioned the price tag for a knit, but it's worth it. Pendleton is known for its fine fabrics, but in my opinion, the styling can be conservative and a bit "ho hum." This skirt is a winner in both fabric and styling. Knit weight is substantial enough that you don't need a slip underneath. The styling is better than in most other Pendleton pieces. I love the hidden zipper in the pocket - it minimizes bulk and gives a cleaner line. The button tabs aren't adjustable but the waistband is forgiving enough that I didn't need them to be. It looks like a dress skirt, not a knit. You can wear it with tops tucked in our out. It isn't getting that "Loosening up" that you find with repeated wear of other knit items.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by GailfromSA from San Antonio, TX on Wednesday, November 5, 2014Excellent quality fabric, feels good while wearing, and well made. The sizing is true to size. I will keep the skirt since it was such a great bargain but the black color has a bit of that faded look (brand new) and there are waist/hip pockets that were not in the description. I stay away from pants and skirts with waist/hip pockets due to my body type. Also the zipper is inside one of the pockets - which is odd. I wear black skirts and pants to work almost every day so I will keep the skirt and work with covering the pocket area with my sweaters and tops.
