This well-made sweater is the perfect weight to wear over a tank top for chilly San Diego evenings! It's a great laying piece, and the ruffles on the bottom hem are a nice touch. Love it!

I'd been spoiled by a cashmere, cable knit pullover I previously purchased from Pendleton, and I was somewhat disappointed in the weight of this cardigan. The workmanship is up to the typical Pendleton standard. I would recommend this cardigan to someone who lives in a warm climate or for those cool spring days, or summer evenings. I did return this sweater, although the price was great and I liked the quality, and I just can't bring myself to give it a lower rating than 4 stars because of my preferences.

And so soft. I love the bright pink color. Will be lovely over my summer dresses in the cooler spring weather. Got another great deal from STP. True to size.

The cashmere is thick, lush, soft and warm, and the styling exceptionally feminine with the subtle ruffle at bottom. My only concern - and it's a small one - is that when worn fully buttoned as shown in the illustration, the placket doesn't lie perfectly straight so there is potential for minor gapping. If you wear a camisole underneath, no problem. If you're only planning to wear it as a pullover, you could stich the placket closed and there'd be no problem. The sweater can be worn without a camisole but be aware that the v-neck is quite deep. I haven't tried it as an open cardigan but will probably do so at some point. I love this sweater and have now ordered it in all four colors.

About Pendleton

The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. By the early 20th century, the Pendleton clothing line was expanded to include suiting and apparel, including the now legendary Pendleton virgin wool shirt. Today, this renowned American brand owns and operates seven manufacturing facilities as well as 75 Pendleton retail stores.
