It has a very strong pigskin tanning smell. Hope the smell goes away with time. The collar seems to be made from the thinnest leather on the jacket, so it doesn't stand up very well. Wish they would have made the collar from stiffer leather, like on the sleeves.

This is a most handsome jacket; well designed and manufactured. The fit, drape, and feel of the coat is exceptional. The material is soft but does not feel 'thin' to the touch, yet is also not heavy or thick. I am very satisfied and pleased to get it at such a great price.

I bought this jacket for my husband, who is very pleased with the fit and material. He likes that there are plenty of pockets. I like that it is washable suede. We both were surprised how much ironing and effort it took to get the jacket into good shape. The lining does not really align properly with the outer shell without pressing, and the sleeves require maintenance between wearings to lay flat. As long as you're willing to put in the time to keep it pressed, the jacket is a good one.

This is a great jacket for the price. Very light weight, stylish with a bit of a western thing. Pendleton makes nice clothing, most of which I can't afford. I would normally never buy anything in a light color in suede, but since it's washable this is an exception. I know it's supposed to be a 2nd, but I can't find anything wrong with it. Perfect fit. Great with jeans or khakis, or you could dress up with a tie. Overall I like this jacket very much and expect to get a lot of use out of it.
