5.0 out of 5 stars. Inexpensive quality shirt

I have purchased a couple of these shirts since STP has been carrying these. The cotton is soft and you can decide wether you would like to iron them or simply pack them in the bag for a weekend trip, go ahead. Fit is true to size, length may be long for some. I'm 180 lbs, 6 ft, and the large is loose on me, just what I want in a flannel shirt. This is a great alternative to wearing wool when you don't need it.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Pendleton is the premier casual shirt

Pendleton makes a superb shirt. The fabrics they use are top notch, the shirts fit just right and they wear well for years. This shirt is no exception. It feels just right, with enough room under the arms and not too much fabric around the waist. Nice shirt.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. RUNS VERY LARGE
Reviewed by BB from CO on Saturday, December 15, 2012
This shirt is very large. My boyfriend wears mostly mediums, but sometimes has to wear large in order for the sleeves to be long enough and shoulders to be wide enough, but he is "medium" in body size (6', 180lbs). I bought this shirt in a medium and it swallowed him. It stuck out a good 4-6 inches all the way around his body and it was so long it fell below the bottom of his rear pockets. We thought of trying a small but don't feel like dealing with such dramatic sizing issues.

About Pendleton

The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. By the early 20th century, the Pendleton clothing line was expanded to include suiting and apparel, including the now legendary Pendleton virgin wool shirt. Today, this renowned American brand owns and operates seven manufacturing facilities as well as 75 Pendleton retail stores.
