The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. Reviewed by Silk Dress Wearer from Kentucky on Monday, May 13, 2013I would love to give this dress 5 stars. The fabric is terrific, the design is elegant BUT it is really big. At 5'7"/135 lbs I am no one's idea of a sylph but this size 6 fits me like a night gown.:(. The construction is high end with a side zipper so I don't think I can even have it tailored to fit. I plan to ask my tailor but will probably have to return it.

However, it runs biiiiiiig. I typically wear a size 4 or 6 in dresses and a 6 or 8 in pants. I bought the 6 and I was swimming in it. Sadly, I had to return it.
