Penguin Footwear Moka Kahn Chukka Boots (For Men)
Closeouts. Ruggedly handsome? That's a compliment Penguin Footwear's Moka Kahn chukka boots are more than happy to both take and to live up to with their combination suede and oiled leather upper, raised moc toe, and sturdy, rugged outsole.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Felix the Cat from Clemson, SC on Wednesday, November 26, 2014These are nice pair of boots, good finish, but the color combination and the style is kind of old looking. Not for me. Maybe I'm just too picky.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kayaker from Maryland on Monday, November 24, 2014I returned them. I found them to be too loose at the heel. My worry was that I would develop blisters as my heel worked back and forth. They fit just fine in the toe. Read the description carefully, there is a suede portion over the toe and at the heel. It wasn't the look I was interested in, I would have preferred all oiled leather, which looks good. The blue sole is almost a light gray. I did not find it off-putting.
Reviewed by M.Witty from D.C. on Wednesday, July 10, 2013The "rugged leather" portion of the boot looks is fine. But the "suede upper" (the part inside the stitching) is a darker brown, far darker than the picture suggests. The contrasting colors actually enhanced the contrasting materials, which made them look a bit odd. Also, the sole is light blue... yes, light blue (I was expecting something closer to an off-white). So the boot is brown leather with a darker suede upper and a light blue sole. To me, the boot just had too much going on unnecessarily. They skipped over having a little flair to just being kind of weird. I couldn't talk myself into liking them enough to keep 'em. My GF said they were hideous... for what it's worth.
Reviewed by Bob Eddy from Alaska on Tuesday, July 9, 2013A good deal at the closeout price and quite comfortable. These boots seem to be accurately sized, so buy the size you would wear in a dress shoe. I live in Alaska and no longer have the patience for lace-up hiking boots. These are a good compromise and easy to slip on and off.
