Pentax Gameseeker Rifle Scope with Penta Plex Reticle - 4x-12x40mm

This is an excellent choice for those who are not sure what they want in a riflescope and can't afford an expensive mistake. It is dirt cheap, but a good quality instrument. I could not decide on one of several $$$ scopes, but this put me in the game for a fraction of the price, while allowing me to figure out the features for the high-end optics that will eventualy replace it. BTW, it's mounted on an AR-15. If you do the same you will need 1" (XHigh) ring mounts to get the necessary height to sight-in and maintain a positive cheek weld.

In a world of escalating scope prices it's good to see that a very scope is still available at affordable price

The reticle on the scope I received was frayed. That may or may not have affected its accuracy, but it was distracting at the very least. Pentax is a reputable maker of optical equipment, but this particular scope was poorly manufactured and unacceptable.

Great Price, great quality for the price. Great for a long distance shooter like 270WSM.
