Roomy enough that tandem paddlers do not have to be in sync. Very stable and tracks well but is difficult to get started. You need a kayak cart. 2nd had a significant shaving cut in the nose but nothing that would affect performance.

Much faster than my 10 ft Pescador. Extra Length and rounder hull definitely speed things up and make for easier paddling. Of course not as easy to turn on a dime as 10 footer. Not too heavy for extra length but a little harder to put on rooftop just due to length and ability to balance at back of car. Great boat came with a few extras too-anchor, pole holder.

I added a cushion that has a padded seat and back and it works great. I can carry it from our deck to Puget Sound on calm days and paddle quietly in shallow waters following the shore line. I bought an 84 cm. paddle and it works well. We are going to buy pipe insulation so that I can carry it inside the kayak and when I want to carry the kayak on my shoulder, I can attach the pipe insulation and it will pad my shoulder. I wanted a light kayak and this 25 pounder works well for me.

the negative first: its a bit heavy. that said i couldnt be happier with this boat! I use it primarily in the bay and coastal waters of San Diego and it is very stable, fast and comfortable. great value for the money. spend a little extra on a nice paddle (you get what you pay for)and enjoy your boating!

This kayak is the perfect size for my teenage daughter. The pink color was also a plus. She is brand new to kayaking and took to it like a fish to water, in part due to this well thought out and constructed Perception kayak. We use the Long Island Sound for most of our kayaking and she has been able to stay afloat and happy in the many changing conditions of a body of water like this.

I was hoping to pick up a used Wilderness Tarpon 120 but could not find one. Saw this at [...] for [$] and took a chance. Haven't been disappointed! It tracks well, nice storage, very stable and very comparable to the Tarpon 120...in my opinion.

Decent boats overall. The manufacturer's 2nd issues on the two I ordered were minimal... minor wavers and edge finish issues on both. [...] The best add for these specific boats is the SmartTrack Rudder system, as the stock rudder system that was offered with these is fairly unimpressive. They track well enough with a bit of judicious loading and a more powerful/skilled paddler... though you'll eventually want a rudder due to the very flat hull contour from midships aft. Best of luck

For a sit-on-top, couldn't ask for more comfortable, stable, and easy to paddle kayak. The included rudder enables quick turns and great tracking in the wind. Easy to enter and exit. A little heavy, but, competitors are similar. Tried a number of sit-on-tops and liked this one the best.

Bought this boat last spring used it all summer long. Me and a fishing buddy had a blast.Right after I bought it took it to a big lake and paddled from one end to the other. The fun and experiences we had fishing out of these boats I wouldn't trade for nothing. I'm looking forward to fishing this year at a local lake that is soon to open for fishing this year. Yall have easy paddling and catch a lot of fish.
