    This sweater looks great on my husband. It is soft, warm and has a deep indigo color... better than the photo. CAUTIONARY OPINION: Do NOT follow the washing instructions that say you can wash in warm water and dry flat. While that is true, the sweater SMELLS TERRIBLE until it is completely dry and stunk up the whole house... like stinky wet dog. Or wet goat. Once dry, the smell is gone (barely discernable... I have a good nose), but we will be taking this one for dry cleaning. Perhaps this is true of all this type of wool as I've never owned something made of this before, but for those who are in the dark, thought I should mention. :)

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Looks great but the very loose weave limits its usefulness. You will need a similar colored undershirt or it shows right through. It works under an outer layer or indoors but in anything other than mild weather and light winds the weave is too loose. It also is a very strange fit. The Large -regular length measured from bottom of the collar is almost 4 inches longer than my other wool larges. The shoulders measured from the center line are each almost three inches longer than the same comparison. I really wonder if it is not sized incorrectly. But it does look great. Color is beautiful and the price is fine. Any higher price and this would go back.
