Reviewed by N W from Connecticut on Wednesday, May 01, 2013This is a very nice, soft sweater that fits true to size (with a slightly thinner and more tailored profile). Some have complained about the looseness of the knit, but it's really not too loose: you can see a bit of a contrasting color in a couple places if it's worn snug. I have the navy and put a dark t-shirt under it and it solves the problem.

On me , the shoulder seam came way down off of my shoulder and just didn't look right. I returned it but it is a well made, good looking product. Reccomendation would be maybe.

Reviewed by Bob The Magnificent from Virginia on Friday, December 28, 2012I like the look and fit of this sweater. It is perfect under a leather jacket or heavy blazer. I find that it is best as an outdoor sweater. But, I have learned to my dismay that merino wool is the least forgiving of any wool. When it comes time to wash this sweater, NEVER put it in the washing machine even in the delicate cycle. The same holds true for the spin, no temperature cycle of the dryer. It's the agitation that will cause the fibers to contract and shrink the sweater, not so much the water temperature. And once that occurs the sweater can never be stretched out again. It's done. Finished. So, wash it by hand in cold water and be very gentle when squeezing out the excess water. Otherwise, you'll be like me with a beautiful doggy sweater.
