    I really like this sweater. The shoulders did appear to stick out like they were padded, but that's softening and I'm comvinced that soon they won't even be noticable. I do wish the sweater were a little longer, but it looks stylish and fits well. And it's very warm! I'll wear it a lot.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I ordered an XL size for my mother so I could give this sweater to her as a Christmas present. All of the clothes she wears are that size. When the beautiful sweater arrived, we are all so disappointed to find that the sweater looked like a child's XL. It barely fit me, and I usually wear a woman's small or medium. I had to send it back.

    This is a beautifully constructed, high quality sweater that fits true to size. The wool is soft, light, and warm. Some reviewers have noted an issue with the shoulders. There is reinforcing tape sewn inside the shoulder seams, and it makes the top of the sleeves stick out a bit when you first put the sweater on. However, if you wear the sweater awhile, it softens and conforms to your actual shoulders. I put it on straight out of the box this morning (couldn't resist!) and the shoulders were a little bulky looking at first (especially if I pushed the sleeves up) but lie just fine now, several hours later. I've been enjoying wearing this sweater all day and will definitely get a lot of use out of it!
