In the past I have purchased several Barbour sweaters from STP. This Glover sweater can't compete with Barbour products. The weave is to loose and upon inspection the upper right sleeve had a nickel sized hole in it. Obviously poor quality control! I give it 1 star for being a nice looking sweater.

The weave one this sweater is a little more open and not as heavy as the true Irish Aran sweaters that I own. But it isn't as loose as the other J.G. Glover sweater that STP carries. It's very soft and comfortable. I got the Charcoal Gray and it's a very beautiful color. As I said before, this is a nice sweater for the price.

Very soft and warm. Only down side is that the knit is loose to trap pockets of warm air, but that means it is not the least bit windproof. Not a tight knit like a real working fisherman's sweater. Needs an outer layer.
