It's very warm, so it may need to be removed at inside gatherings. I didn't check "itchy" under "cons" because it's mostly soft, but it is a tad itchier than some finer merino wool sweaters that I've owned (I'm super sensitive to itch!). Very good looking and well-made, goes well with a white turtleneck or long-sleeve t-shirt. I will wear this in casual situations or when an extra layer of warmth is in order.
