Definitely a step up from the mall-brand sweaters I used to buy. It's definitely not a slim fit, but the medium didn't seem too roomy for my 40" chest and 32" waste. It's scratchier than the other Peregrine sweaters I've bought, so if that bothers you, plan to wear it over long sleeves. I ordered it in green and liked it so much I'm coming back for a brown.
