“I bought this cap in blue to mimic a WW2 US NAVY watch cap and for [$] it fits the bill. The crown is sewn in 4 points (not 6) but if you get it wet and shape it to your head it smooths out. Mine was tagged 100% merino -- maybe older versions were a blend. Cap is also double layered but thin layers so this cap doesn't look bulky like the $10 surplus store caps.”
