Petmate Dog Control Harness - Medium

I found that my dog was comfortable in the harness, but as he is still a younger dog, still being trained to walk properly, he was able to pull and streach the harness handle while we were exercising in the park.

The webbing, stitching and metal braces are extremely strong and so far seem to be resistant to the elements. Although they have not failed, I would have preferred strapped buckles rather than plastic clips for securing the harness, especially as my dogs tend to pull harder when they are restrained by the chest as opposed to collars. The elastic leash is convenient, but I rarely have use for it and would not advise relying on it during training or serious activity. Very good harness overall.

this product is exceptional quality; however, i can't decide just what it fits. it appears to designed for a large dog. i'm thinking theres got to be a piece missing. its heavy enough for a very large(110)dog, but nowhere big enough. it has a great durable explanable handle, but to use it i would need to walk on my knees!(i'm 5'2")

Bought a few of these, in spite of the buckles breaking within a couple of months of daily use. Threw away the last one because it rubbed my dog's chest raw--and she doesn't pull on leash. Not practical to use elastic leash, always used with regular leash.
