Petmate Durabed Pet Bed - Medium, Rectangular

I bought the medium bed for my 17lb. cat. I lined the bed with a foam pad, covered it with a towel and my cat started using the bed. She prefers it over my bed--I'm very pleased.

Purchased Durabeds when they were first introduced (seems like it was 7/8 years ago or more) and still have 2 out of three. (one was destroyed by a puppy during "an enthusiastic/energetic phase.") If you put a comfey pad or fleecey blanket in the bed frame dogs love them! Durabeds provide a "nesting" place so that they can rest/snuggle up off the ground/floor. The price was so great I purchased multiples of this product because I am fortunate in that I can take my dogs to work. Everybody is happy... me and most importantly my pointers!

I have two of these and between my 6 dogs and one cat, they are always in use! I use soft fleece blankets for them, and it's fun to watch "the kids" burrow down and get comfy. The medium size is will easily hold two of my 35lb critters, if they cuddle close. Funny thing, the cat likes to hog up the larger bed, and doesn't share! I may buy two more, and then I could have the couch to myself for once!!

My cats like it better than the dogs. Needs soft padding on edges for the dogs to prop their heads. Nice to be up off the floor. Easy to keep clean.
