No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“I needed a step for my lab with arthritis to help him in and out of our SUV. The step is well made, with a non slip surface. But when it's installed, it only extends the bumper. It's not lower than the bumper to create the step he needs from the ground to the bumper. I had a Twistep which I loved, but it broke. I was thrilled to see this one and so cheap, but I've found it useless for my dogs.”
