I use it to safe my dog from other dogs in an SUV since he awakes cranky after long hikes. I chose one size smaller since it's a short confinement period. Easy set-up and take down, only minor beef is having to roll up flaps that are on all the screened-windows (may cut them off).

Needed a "cave" for my standard schnauzer now that we are on the road. Traveling is now part of our lifestyle. New apartments every three months. This crate makes him feel like he always has a place that is safe when we get to a new assignment. Added a sheepskin throw from Sierra Trading Post Home Decor and he is a happy boy.

Our Vizlas are very happy with their new travel homes. We also bought the Large size for them to sleep in. We've bought other pet "tents," but these are the nicest. Great price, too!

This is a great product for animals that are already crate-trained, as I imagine a dog not yet crate-trained could tear through parts of this nylon construction. It is so light and easy to move around; my dog took to it right away! The storage bag and stakes that come with the crate are nice additions. However, the zippers are not very strong. After very little use, the main zipper already broke, rendering the carte now useless. What a disappointment! An item like this, where you use the zippers many times each day, should have very heavy-duty zippers, maybe like the ones used on tents (or even nice backpacks). I will have to return this product and pay much more for a similar non-Sierra Trading Post product, no doubt.
