Closeouts. From the backcountry to the backyard, Petzl's Myolite Hybrid headlamp offers everything you need to light up the night, thanks to an innovative hybrid design that includes both a Xenon halogen lamp for a long-range beam and a 3-LED option for efficient, longer-term lighting.
Reviewed by PNW Hunter from WA State on Monday, March 4, 2013Comfortable, bright, and I like the options between light and length of burn.
Reviewed by Mezcalfud from CA on Friday, March 1, 2013The quality and comfort is awesome but the xenon bulb is dull and yellow. LED technology in most cases is brighter and more effecient. I returned the item and will just carry a small cree flashlight if I need to throw light beyond a small LED headlamp. I orderedd the Princeton (made in USA) and it works great.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by one more dude from the Sierras, CA on Wednesday, October 3, 2012This is a pretty capable headlamp, and while larger than some of the alternatives does a good job in a sturdy package. As a wildland firefighter I like that it runs on AA batts (super easy to get in fire camp if you're not familiar) and has variable power output so I can go for a long time without needing to replace them.
- Cons: Larger Than Alternatives
- Pros: Takes AA batteries, Variable Light Output
