Fine for digging around the tent and missing that darn root everyone's tripping over, but certainly not for hiking in low light conditions. It's only got two LEDs, it's not a spotlight, and has only two settings: On and off. The switch would be nearly impossible to affect with gloves on. It's black. I don't get that at all about ANY headlamp - why make something you need to see better in the dark difficult to find in the dark?
I digress.
I've dropped it a couple of times and the battery compartment pops open too easily, and the lens popped out once. Why make the lens removable?
Lightweight? Not.
I actually started off giving this headlamp 3 stars, but after I got into the review, I thought it deserved a demotion.
In the final analysis, if you need a hands-free light in the car, for the house, or something to get around the campsite with, this is fine, I guess. But if you're looking for a headlamp for caving or night hiking, keep shopping.
