Picnic Time Envoy Wine Case - Insulated

Very nice-looking case for the price -- I would have given it 5 stars if not for the cheesy-looking faux-bois adhesive. I bought it as a hostess gift to tote a couple of bottles to a dinner party.

This product is very nice and at a very reasonable price. As an interior designer, I dissagree with other reviewers that the faux wood is cheesy. It is very close to what I see everyday in the world of plastic laminate woods- it's a photgraphic representation of wood printed on metal. I think that is as good as it gets for faux wood tecnologically at this point, which is pretty good! Real wood or veneer would weigh a ton. Actually the faux metal on the corners of the box stood out to me more for "cheesieness" and I have a few concerns about the durrability of the metalic coating on them (it's obvious to me that it is on plastic. This was lost to the recipients of the gift). This product looks great overall, is not as heavy as I expected it to be and will fit two camping style "Lexan" wine glasses on one side of you choose not to cary two bottles. It is well made, reasonably ballanced with only one bottle in it, and attractive. We gave it as a present and the recipient LOVED it!! [...]
